Why is this titled the CMC Weighs In?

A little background may be in order…..The Captivating Mrs. Campbell, or 'the CMC,' as she is affectionately known to those closest to her, is a nickname given to John’s wife, Catherine. This came about during John’s first appearance on the Hugh Hewitt show, where he is now a frequent guest. When he found out that Hugh refers to his wife as, “the Fetching Mrs. Hewitt,” a title John found particularly intriguing, John immediately set out to determine a similar title for Catherine. After a bit of thought, he came up with, “the Captivating Mrs. Campbell,” or “the CMC,” as she is referred to in abbreviated form.

The CMC Weighs In is an opportunity for Campbell supporters to hear from Catherine. It is not often that one has the unique opportunity to hear from the Congressman’s wife, the person who is closest to him, and who knows him best. The CMC would like to give readers insight into the person of John Campbell, as well as share some of her thoughts on various areas of interest. She will write on a variety of topics ranging from favorite books of hers and John’s, to gardening tips and recipes, to details on events where she and or John will be in attendance. The CMC will also point you to other sites that may be of political or historical interest to his site’s vistors.
